Family Enrichment Center’s Mud Happens is one of the best events in Bowling Green, Kentucky. What’s better than running, walking, wading, and climbing your way through a muddy obstacle course to help Family Enrichment Center empower families and prevent child abuse right here in our own community? We can’t think of many things. American Bank and Trust is proud to sponsor and participate in this event each year.
Family Enrichment Center’s History
Family Enrichment Center was founded in 1977 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, by a small group of concerned citizens who wanted to raise community awareness and prevent child abuse. They are the only agency whose sole purpose is to prevent child abuse or neglect. For more decades they have been working to “empower families and prevent child abuse”. They have been able to do this because of the kindness and generous support from the community.
The 2018 Mud Happens was an absolute blast. American Bank and Trust was well represented by bank volunteers who all enjoyed an extremely muddy and fun Saturday. We even had an employee participate in Mud Happens on the morning of her wedding day! Check out the recap below.
